Christian Discipleship Meditation Importance
Sometimes disciples lose hope and walk away from their goals to serve God believing the lies of evil that are played in the battlefield of our minds. How can Christian disciples keep forward focussed and more effectively fight the battle that rages within that tries to defeat their desire to serve God? One way is to use Christian Meditations.
Today I was led to an excellent free meditation in my emails that seems really effective for keeping our eyes on what is real about Christian discipleship- it is not what we do- but what God does through us.
Encounter provides free daily Christian meditations that you can listen to each day via email. I highly recommend signing up for this excellent service.

This free Encounter meditation is based on the following scripture:

This Encounter Christian meditation is read in a soothing masculine voice and is set against a backdrop of soothing soft low instrumental music. The meditation on the main scripture is preceded an introduction where the author shares what inspired the meditation - a walk under the brightly shining stars in the night sky. The author also includes a short responsive prayerful meditation on a passage from James Chapter One that sets the tone for the meditation. It is this responsive prayer that inspired me to share this meditation with my fellow seekers of discipleship training:"Heavenly Father, Let me know of Your work in and through me."
